Oh hi there! Just chillin with Buzz L. and my keyboardz!

I like grandma.

I like puzzles.

Let me give you the "stunner" look.

So today I was wondering...what does a baby raccoon in a toilet bowl look like?
I decided to find out...here are the results. Call me for the details.

Aw...ain't he cute!!

***UPDATED***
Leann and I woke up around 5 AM on Sunday (07/06/2008) because of what sounded like cats in the backyard, making really loud noises.
We waited a few minutes, hoping they would just go away or be quiet, but they didn't. At this time, it looked like one big cat with a struggling bird in its mouth.
I went downstairs and grabbed the hose, adjusted it to "power wash", and proceeded to "power wash" the cats.
Turns out they weren't cats, they were a family of raccoons, a mother and 3 babies. The "bird" was a baby being carried by the scruff of the neck.
2 of the babies were on the fence with the mom, but one had fallen off and was in our backyard.
This is the reason they were making such a huge racket, the little one was calling out to the mom and she was trying to figure out what to do.
The mom ran off, being shot with a hose in the early morning is *not* pleasant, and the 2 babies on the fence with her followed.
The little one that had fallen off stayed there, he seemed pretty confused. I was pretty sure I didn't want a raccoon as a pet, so I grabbed him by the back of the neck and dropped him back on the fence.
Of course I was wearing my toughest goathide gloves, in case he felt like biting or scratching me.
I then went upstairs and tried to get to sleep. Turns out baby raccoons are pretty dumb. He just wandered around the top of the fence aimlessly, and for some reason, wasnt making noise anymore.
His mom was nowhere in sight, and so half an hour later I went back out, hoping to catch him and then call animal control. I distracted him by waving a stick in front of him and then grabbed him by the back of the neck and dropped him into the old toilet bowl we have sitting in the backyard.
I then covered it with a big concrete block so he couldn't get out.
I called animal control, and the guy that handles that service for the city of Newark is out on vacation until monday, the 7th. Naturally.
They also won't take wild raccoons that are not in an approved trap. What, toilets don't count??
Basically, they wouldn't take him.
Annoyed at this point, I decided to just leave him on the fence and be done with it. When i opened up the toilet, he started growling at me. I'm not about to stick my fingers into a toilet bowl with an angry baby raccoon in it, so I grabbed the hose and "power washed" him for a second to calm him down.
I then grabbed him and dropped him on the fence again. Leann and I both retreated into the house, hoping the mother would come back. It's now about 6 AM, and the sun has come up.
We wait for a while, no mommy raccoon in sight. However, we can both hear her making those sounds, but the stupid baby wouldn't call out to her for some reason.
We decide to stuff him into a box and go find the mommy, since we can hear her.
I reinforce an old diaper box with strapping tape and dump him in it, and go searching for the mom. Turns out she is in a nearby sewer, still making those noises.
We dump the baby into the sewer, of course we practically need to shove him in, since he's hanging onto the edge.
Then he just stays in the main sewer area, trying to climb the walls, all the time his mother is further down the pipe calling to him.
Did I mention how dumb baby raccoons are?
Eventually he gets the idea, and starts making his noises. It's funny to hear them call back and forth, alternating. He then figures out he needs to run down the pipe, and shortly afterwards, they stop calling to each other.
We take this as indicating that they found each other, happy story, Leann is sniffling (happy) because of the melodrama, and I'm tired as hell but unable to sleep.
